from gymnast to photographer.
I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera
Long before I was photographing athletes, I was one.
As a former Division I gymnast at Auburn University (1984-88), I spent years in the gym learning the details that make a difference — the body lines, the pointed toes, timing, technique and confidence that can turn a good image into a great one. Today, that experience shapes the way I photograph athletes.
For more than 15 years, I’ve photographed athletes throughout South Florida, creating images that celebrate not only what they look like, but what they’ve worked so hard to become.
My background gives me a perspective that goes beyond photography. I understand athletes. I understand coaches. And I understand how important it is for a picture day to represent the quality of the program behind it.
Athlete first.
Photographer second.
Both Matter.
